WhatsApp becomes the biggest storage thief
WhatsApp plays the biggest role in filling up mobile storage. Videos, memes, photos, audios and documents coming in groups get saved in the phone without anyone knowing.
Open WhatsApp, go to Settings → Storage and Data → Manage Storage. Here you will clearly see which group or type of media is taking more space. Old and useless videos or files can be selected and deleted easily.
Also turn off the Media Auto-Download option, so that unnecessary files are not downloaded automatically in future. With just these two steps, many users get more than 5GB of storage.
