Patna BJP Congress Clash: In Bihar’s capital Patna, the political struggle landed on the road on Friday. On seeing the performance of BJP workers outside the Congress headquarters, it turned into a ruckus. Activists of both parties came face to face between the allegations, counter-allegations, sticks and stone pelting. The situation became such that the police had to deploy heavy forces and had to get water canon.
Why BJP and Congress workers clashed?
BJP workers were protesting at the Congress state headquarters against the alleged indecent remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Meanwhile, a sharp clash started between the workers of both parties.
- The BJP alleges that Congress workers pelted stones at him.
- At the same time, the Congress says that BJP workers tried to vandalize and stone pelting in the party office.

BJP attack: “Not tolerate insult to mother and PM”
Bihar government minister Nitin Nabin warned the Congress and said-
“You have insulted the mother, every Bihar’s son will answer this. You have insulted the Prime Minister, every BJP worker will take revenge. We were performing peacefully but brick-stones were run from inside the Congress office. BJP workers are not afraid of guns and stone.”
Congress retaliation: “Attack from the government’s involvement”
Congress worker Dr. Ashutosh retorted and said-
“This will be given a befitting reply. All this is happening with the involvement of the government. What Nitish Kumar is doing is completely wrong.”
Congress workers also shouted slogans against the police and demonstrated fiercely.
Heavy police force deployed on the spot
In view of the increasing tension, the police immediately surrounded the area.
- Senior police officers reached the spot.
- Water canon’s car was deployed.
- Officials say the case is being investigated and an FIR will be registered soon.
