Stocks to watch today: UltraTech Cement, UB, Nazara Tech and more will be in focus

Kolkata: On all the three days of the week the market rose much to the relief of investors. The market witnessed a rally for the third consecutive day. On Wednesday, Sensex 30 surged 633.29 points to settle at 76,704.13, while Nifty 50 rose 196.65 points to end at 23,777.80. Stocks in focus

UltraTech Cement: The company has decided to acquire an about 26.18% stake in Sunsure Solarpark Seven and for this the company plans to invest up to Rs 19.2 crore. The objective behind this move is to fulfill its green energy requirements, reduce operational costs, and ensure compliance with captive power regulations.

United Breweries: The company has received environmental clearance for its new greenfield brewery plant in Uttar Pradesh. This plant is set to be established within the Industrial Manufacturing and Logistics Cluster in Unnao and will have an annual production capacity of 1.3 million hectoliters.

Delhivery: Expanding its international service ‘Delhivery International,’ the logistics company has now launched an Economy Air Parcel Service extending to the UK, Canada, and Australia, a move expected to bolster the company’s international business.

Nazara Technologies: The gaming company’s UK subsidiary has entered into an agreement to acquire a 50% stake each in Bluetile Games S.L. and BestPlay Systems S.L. Valued at approximately $100.3 million, this deal will strengthen the company’s international gaming portfolio.

Belrise Industries: The company’s subsidiary, Belrise UK Holdings, has signed an agreement to acquire a 100% stake in Chester Hall Precision Engineering Holdings Limited. This acquisition will further reinforce the company’s auto components business.

NATCO Pharma: The company’s Board is scheduled to meet on March 24 to consider the demerger—or separation—of its agrochemical business. This unit may potentially be transferred to Natco Crop Health Sciences.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India): The company has secured a significant order worth Rs 393.04 crore from the Airports Authority of India. This project pertains to the development of a new greenfield airport in Rajasthan and is expected to bolster the company’s order book.
