GST 2.0 came into force across the country from 22 September. In Bhopal’s Chowk Bazaar, CM Mohan Yadav communicated and interacted with the public and traders. The women said that they have benefited from GST 2.0 in festive shopping.
Bhopal. Today i.e. from September 22, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) 2.0 has come into force across the country. On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the Chowk Bazar in the capital Bhopal. He shopped there and made payment from UPI. The CM spoke to traders, social organizations and general public while walking in the market. During this, he congratulated everyone on GST 2.0 and appealed to the traders to adopt indigenous mantras.
Women get the benefit of GST 2.0
The shopping women told the Chief Minister that they have got the direct benefit of GST 2.0. A woman said that she bought a sari for her sister’s first Karvachauth and saved it. CM Dr. Yadav himself bought a kurta for Dussehra and told that this day is like a savings festival. Many women shared the experience of shopping of Navratri, Karvachauth, Dussehra and Deepawali.
Emphasis on promoting industries
After the purchase, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav interacted with the traders. He said that the country is constantly prosperous under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- Small traders and entrepreneurs are constantly getting help from the government.
- The Madhya Pradesh government is also implementing new arrangements to promote industries.
- When the industries in the state are strong, the rupee will roam here and the local economy will be strong.
CM Mohan Yadav said that by relying on the mantra of Swadeshi, we can stand firmly in front of the whole world. Just as the country became independent from the indigenous movement, in the same way, India can be adopted to new heights by adopting Swadeshi today.
India’s economy is growing rapidly
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is moving towards becoming a third economy from the fourth economy. If we adopt Make in India in everything, then India can soon become the world’s number-1 economy. Our goal is that the products made in India are sold here and then exports worldwide.
Corruption and control over black money
CM Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Modi has continuously improved the country’s systems. Due to income tax and change in GST, corruption and black money have been largely controlled. The budget for every sector has been increased, due to which there was no shortage of funds for the poor, youth, farmers and women.
Swadeshi’s message on festivals
At the end of the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav greeted people for Dhanteras and Deepawali. He appealed that on this festival all the people should adopt indigenous products in their homes and contribute to furthering the country.
