Mumbai witnessed a grand premiere for the upcoming film ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, drawing a constellation of Bollywood stars. The event, held in Mumbai, saw prominent personalities like Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Deol, and Neetu Kapoor in attendance, creating a buzz among fans and media alike.
Alia Bhatt captivated onlookers in a stylish grey saree paired with an intricately beaded blue-bordered blouse, posing against a cosmic-themed backdrop. She was joined by Ranbir Kapoor’s mother, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor, adding to the evening’s charm. Sunny Deol arrived in a sophisticated white suit, while Ranbir Kapoor opted for a traditional maroon kurta and dark jeans, expressing gratitude to fans with folded hands.
Director Nitesh Tiwari, the visionary behind ‘Ramayana’, attended with his wife, director Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, and their children. Also present were Ravie Dubey, who plays Lakshman in the film, with his wife Sargun Mehta, and a host of other celebrities including Lara Dutta, Kunal Kapoor, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet, Jackky Bhagnani, and Vivek Oberoi. The premiere offered a glimpse into the epic scale of the film, which is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026, with ‘Part 2’ expected to follow in Diwali 2027. Ranbir Kapoor portrays Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, and Yash as Ravana, promising a cinematic spectacle for audiences globally.
