Karthik was also RCB’s assistant coach with Andy Flower in their IPL 2025 title-winning run earlier this year. The 40-year-old Karthik played in 26 Tests, 94 ODIs and 60 T20 matches for Team India. He scored 4842 runs in 257 matches in IPL at a strike-rate of 135.36 with 22 fifties and a best of 97 not out.
