Nagar Nigam Lucknow News: Lucknow Municipal Corporation Sadan approved 83 auto-tempo stand and street parking proposals. More than 6200 auto-tampo in the city will be fixed for stand, relief from illegal recovery and jam problem, tender will be released soon.
Lucknow auto stand: Illegal auto-tempo stand and traffic jam problem on the roads of the capital Lucknow is expected to get relief soon. The Municipal Corporation Sadan finally passed a proposal to construct 83 auto-tempo stands on Tuesday. The case was stuck for about two and a half years. Now after getting the approval, it is believed that auto-tampo stands will start soon at the fixed places in the city. Also, a proposal for street parking has also been passed.
Illegal stand and recovery problem will end
Currently, about 6200 auto-tapes run in Lucknow, but there is no fixed stand for them. Because of this, illegal stands were formed at different places, where illegal recovery was made from the drivers. The issue continued to raise on this issue and NBT also published a sequential report.

Plan made on the instructions of CM Yogi, trials were made, but the proposal stuck
In view of this problem, a joint committee of district administration, police and municipal corporation was formed on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This committee surveyed 83 places for stands by survey across the city.
Last year, auto-tapes were started as trials at Charbagh, Dubgga, Polytechnic intersection, Chinhat Tiraha and Terhi Pulia intersection. 534 auto-tampo used to run from these stands. According to the prescribed conditions, every auto-tape was charged Rs 2000 annually and Rs 20 daily. However, the trial stopped after six months as the final approval of the Municipal Corporation House could not be received.
Tender will be released soon, steps towards jam -free city
Now the municipal corporation has approved the proposal under the chairmanship of Mayor Sushma Kharkwal. In such a situation, it is expected that tenders will be issued for the operation of these stands very soon.
This decision is considered important to make Lucknow city jam free and to organize traffic. With the fixation of the stand, not only the drivers will be facilitated, but passengers will also get the option of safe and easy travel.
