Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles examination 2026 for the time being. This computer based examination was to start from 23 February 2026, but now it has been postponed till further orders. According to SSC, the Computer Based Test (CBT) scheduled from February 23, 2026 has been postponed “till further notice”. That is, the new date has not been announced at present. SSC GD Exam Pattern 2026: How will the exam pattern be?
This examination will be completely computer based (CBT). There will be only one objective paper in which there will be a total of 80 questions. Each question will be of 2 marks and total marks will be 160. Talking about subjects, questions in the exam will be asked from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, English/Hindi. All questions will be multiple choice (MCQ).
In which languages will SSC GD exam be held?
Apart from English and Hindi, this exam will also be conducted in 13 regional languages, which include Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
