Vikram Rathore was the batting coach of the Indian team till T20 World Cup 2024. Team India became the world champion of T20 while he was the batting coach. Rathore is also the assistant coach of Rajasthan Royals team in IPL. Now he will also be seen providing his services to Sri Lanka and trying to make it win the title of T20 World Cup 2026.

Vikram Rathore will take command from this day

Vikram Rathore will take over as the batting coach of Sri Lanka on January 15. This means that he will not be a part of Sri Lanka in the 3 T20 match series against Pakistan to be played between January 7 and January 11.

The T20 series against Pakistan is a part of Sri Lanka’s preparations for the World Cup. After that, by organizing a camp, he will work to remove his shortcomings in a better way before the T20 World Cup 2026. Vikram Rathore can also be present there to help the Sri Lankan team overcome its shortcomings.
