Shocking incident happened in KKR vs SRH match
Actually, Ehsaan Malinga was bowling in the sixth over of the innings. He bowled a full length ball on the last ball of the over. Young batsman Angkrish Raghuvanshi tried to drive it. But the ball could not come into Malinga’s hands and hit his boot and rolled back onto the pitch. Meanwhile, both the batsmen tried to score runs. But Malinga picked up the ball quickly and uprooted the stumps. At that time Cameron Green was going to the batting end.
Why did the umpire give out Cameron Green?
Everyone thought that Raghuvanshi was run out, because he was running towards the bowling end and Ehsaan Malinga got out at the same end. But when the umpire checked, a surprising thing came to light. Actually, the batsman who was out was not Raghuvanshi, but his partner Cameron Green. Actually, both the batsmen were not able to cross each other. According to the rules of cricket, unless the batsmen cross each other, they are considered to be standing at the same end from which they run. Due to which Cameron Green was declared run out.
This incident became one of the most unique run outs so far in IPL 2026. Raghuvanshi thought that he was out, so he moved towards the boundary, but luck favored him and Green was run out. After this decision of the umpire, everyone was surprised and even Cameron Green could not believe it. But he had to return to the pavilion.
