New Delhi: Ahead of the grand premiere of Squid Game Season 3, Netflix is making sure to raise the stakes, as well as excitement among the fans. The last chapter of the Korean survival series is set to release on June 27 at 12:31 pm in India. Now, the online streaming giant has released the first six minutes of the new season, and it takes viewers straight into the chaos of the deadly games.

In the video, red-suited guards walk carrying a black coffin, in which lies Seong Gi-hun, who is alive and shattered. As he rises up from the coffin, he challenges the Front Man. A guard tells him, “Because of your actions, 35 players have died,” with only 60 contestants left to play the deadly game. He then lashes out at the guards, “Why did you not kill me? Why… why did you leave me? Shoot me! Kill me too!” Instead of acknowledging him, the guards announced the increased prize money to all the remaining contestants.

On the other hand, a squad searches for the island as disappearances increase. Meanwhile, the Front Man watches everything through the camera. Actor Lee-Jung-jae also spoke about the particular scene and said, “When the coffin is opened, Gi-hun is reborn. He has to go back to the competition, play the game again, and make choices again.”
