SP MLA Pooja Pal was also included in the list of rebel MLAs who had supported the Bharatiya Janata Party while crossing the Rajya Sabha elections. After which, the party was also trying to evacuate them, but still, the SP did not take action on them. He has been given more time in the name of good behavior.
Pooja Pal became a good rebel MLA
According to political information, the biggest reason for not taking action on Pooja Pal is Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA (backward Dalit and minority) formula. Pooja Pal comes from backward classes and a large number of people of Pal Samaj live in the Chail area. These voters were with BJP before 2022. But in the last election, when the SP fielded Pooja Pal on this seat, a large number of Pal voters turned to the SP, as a result of which the SP won this seat.
Even after cross voting in the Rajya Sabha elections, Pooja Pal was seen several times with BJP leaders and held meetings in support of BJP, but despite this, she never made rhetoric against SP or SP leadership. A big reason for not taking action on Pooja Pal is also that Panchayat elections are to be held in UP next year, in such a situation, the SP does not want to take any risk before the elections.
The SP will also try to give a message in the elections in the elections that these representatives had left them in bad times, but despite this, the SP did not take any action on them. In such a situation, the SP will not have to raise the displeasure of the Pal voters. Therefore, the SP has placed Pooja Pal in the list of rebel MLAs whose heart is changing.
