Spotify Wrapped 2025: Spotify has released its much-awaited 2025 Wrapped, offering a clear look at the sounds that shaped India’s listening habits this year. While Arijit Singh retained his position as the country’s most-streamed artist for the seventh consecutive year, the top songs of the year painted a more diverse picture.
Romance continued to dominate playlists, yet none of Arijit’s releases made it to the top five tracks, an unexpected twist for India’s streaming king.
Raanjhan becomes India’s most-streamed song of 2025
The year’s biggest track was Raanjhan from Do Patti, composed and performed by Sachet–Parampara, which crossed a staggering 246 million streams on Spotify. The track’s sweeping melody and cinematic charm helped it overpower strong competitors across the chart.
Arijit Singh still made his presence felt with Apna Bana Le, which secured the eighth spot, reaffirming his enduring appeal even in a year led by younger voices and fresh sounds.

Podcasts continue to thrive
True crime, horror, and motivational content topped podcast streaming charts, led by Figuring Out with Raj Shamani and The Horror Show by Khooni Monday. Indian listeners once again showed a preference for gripping stories and reflective content.
Spotify Wrapped 2025 also introduced new features like the Listening Archive, Wrapped Party, and AI-powered genre breakdowns. The results confirm what India has always known: music may evolve, but emotional storytelling continues to rule the nation’s heart.
