‘Spiritual and cultural landmark’: Panchkula to get Akshardham Swaminarayan Temple

New Delhi: Panchkula is set to get an Akshardham Swaminarayan Temple. Ashwin Johar, a Haryana government official, said that the temple will be a “spiritual and cultural landmark” for the entire region.

Johar, who is a Member, IRBC of NITI Aayog, said that BAPS as an organisation, has been tirelessly working both nationally and globally to preserve our rich traditions and value systems.

“It is wonderful news for the city of #Panchkula that an Akshardham Swaminarayan Temple is being built here. This will be a spiritual and cultural landmark for the entire region. We feel truly blessed that Swamiji visited our office and offered his divine blessings,” he said on X. Johar said that BAPS’ efforts in guiding the youth on the path of righteousness, while inspiring spiritual growth, are “truly commendable”.

Swaminarayan Akshardham authority said that the temple in Panchkula will stand as a “timeless centre of spirituality, values, and culture for all.”
