Spirit Update: 65 days of shooting left, on track for release

Most Prabhas films tend to get delayed by months and, in some cases, even years. Some producers and directors also refrain from sharing regular production updates, leaving fans frustrated. But director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is different.

The director has remained accessible to fans and the media and has been sharing updates about the film’s progress.

He has now provided an update on the production of “Spirit.”

“We have filmed important sequences. We need to wrap another 65 days of filming, not 65 calendar days, to complete the film. The target is on track. There will not be any delay or missing the deadline. The film will arrive as announced in March,” Vanga said.

Vanga also refused to compare “Spirit” with other big-ticket films, including “Varanasi.” He said Rajamouli’s film is much bigger in terms of scale and business and humbly admitted that Rajamouli is a true showman whose craze is on another level.

Vanga made it clear that he does not see himself as being anywhere close to the visionary filmmaker and believes “Spirit” should be viewed on its own terms.
