Tripti Dimri is currently one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood. She gained nationwide recognition after playing a key role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in “Animal”, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
When Deepika Padukone exited “Spirit”, Vanga roped in Tripti Dimri as the female lead opposite Prabhas in the much-awaited Telugu-Hindi bilingual. The film officially marks Tripti’s debut in Telugu cinema.
According to writer-director Hemant Madhukar, who shares a long-standing association with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Tripti’s role in “Spirit” is far more than a glamorous presence.
“Tripti Dimri will surprise everyone with her performance in the film. Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for writing strong and memorable female characters, and audiences can expect a powerful role for her in ‘Spirit’,” Hemant Madhukar said.
The shooting of “Spirit” is currently underway in Hyderabad. The crime drama is particularly significant as it marks Prabhas’s 25th film and the first time he will be seen playing a police officer on screen.
With Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga joining forces for the first time, expectations are sky-high. The film is being planned for release in early 2027.
