Spider-Man: Brand New Day has taken the Indian box office by storm. Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, the superhero movie was theatrically released on July 30 here, a day before its worldwide premiere. Days after the movie’s release, Harrison Osterfield congratulated the film team. The actor worked for Tom as his assistant on Spider-Man: Homecoming and also reportedly had a brief role in it. A few hours ago, the actor shared unseen and BTS photos with Tom and other crew members. He further admitted that he is proud of whatever Tom has achieved in life.

Taking to his Instagram account, Harrison shared a bunch of happy and goofy pictures with , Jacob, and others. While sharing it, the actor wrote that ten years ago, he and Tom were just 19 filming for Spider-Man: Homecoming. They were just kids, he wrote. Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming was theatrically released in 2017. Apart from Tom and Zendaya, the superhero movie featured Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover, and others.

Helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton, took a bumper box office opening in India with Rs 60.60 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 49.35 crore on day two, Rs 70.25 crore on day three, and Rs 76 crore. While the four-day net total stands at Rs 256.33 crore, it has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in its gross collection.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Quotable, Tom revealed that the team saw many cuts of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He shared that the makers took notes from all the people who watched the movie at test screenings. “And then they changed the movie, and we watched it, and we hated it. It totally didn’t work. It was what the people were asking for, but it wasn’t quite what we wanted as the creatives,” he said, while adding that a movie can change in thousand different ways in the edit room.
