MP Soybean Crop Loss: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took stock of the damaged soybean crop in Shajapur and assured the farmers that no farmer would be harmed. The government will conduct survey, provide insurance amount and help with new agricultural schemes.
The soil, farm and toiling farmers of the state are the real strength of Madhya Pradesh. This is the reason that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while inspecting the damaged soybean crop in village Khadi in Shajapur district, assured the farmers that they would not be allowed to suffer any kind of damage. The government stands with farmers at every step.
Survey of spoiled soybean crop will be done
The Chief Minister has instructed all the collectors of the state including Shajapur Collector to conduct a detailed survey of soybean crops affected by the lack of rain and pest outbreaks. He said that the farmers will be given maximum benefits and the cases of farmers who are deprived of previous insurance amount will be resolved soon.

Farmers will get water from Narmada-Parvati-Chambal-Kalisindh Link Project
Dr. Yadav said that in the coming time, water will be provided to the farmers of Shajapur district from this mega project, which will bring positive changes in the lives of poor farmers and also increase production capacity.
Kamdhenu scheme will promote indigenous cow rearing
The Chief Minister informed that cow’s milk will be purchased from farmers under Kamdhenu Yojana. Out of the 40 lakh rupees on 25 cow rearing, 10 lakh rupees will be given by the government as a grant. Gaushalas will be established in rural areas and assistance will be provided for maintenance at the rate of Rs 40 per cow.
Dr. Yadav informed the farmers that a grant of Rs 2 lakh will be given for the first year for putting a fruit on one acre of land and 55 thousand rupees in the next years. This scheme will prove to be an important step towards increasing the income of farmers and making farming sustainable.
Cotton production will get a boost
The Chief Minister said that PM Mitra Industrial Park will be developed at Badnawar in Dhar district to encourage cotton production in the state, which will be laid on September 17. This will give unprecedented benefits to cotton farmers of Malwa-Nimar region.
On reaching the village, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav knew the condition of the soybean crop that was damaged in his field from farmer Parvat Singh Bagana and assured him that the government would stand with him in any case.
