According to Sacnilk, the film added nearly Rs 25 crore on Day 4 alone. Its total collection now stands at an impressive Rs 105.12 crore. The breakup includes Rs 9.35 crore from paid premieres, Rs 32.25 crore on Day 1, Rs 18.75 crore on Day 2 and Rs 19.50 crore on Day 3. Trade circles expect the film to move close to the Rs 200 crore mark by the coming weekend if the pace holds.

Another Sankranthi release, Anaganaga Oka Raju, has opened on a positive note. The comedy entertainer collected around Rs 5.50 crore India net on its first day. Telugu occupancy stood strong at 60.15 percent. While morning shows began at 37.82 percent, collections climbed steadily through the day, peaking at 76.66 percent during night shows. The festive holiday clearly worked in the film’s favour.

In Tamil cinema, Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, is showing solid growth. The film crossed the Rs 35 crore mark within six days. On Day 6, it earned around Rs 5.10 crore, a sharp rise from earlier mid-week numbers. Total collections now stand at Rs 35.85 crore.
