Even after winning the toss and deciding to bowl first, the Indian team could not stop South Africa from reaching the huge score of 214 runs. In reply, Team India was all out for 162 runs only. The performance of captain Suryakumar Yadav (5 runs) and vice-captain Shubhman Gill (0 runs) remains a matter of concern for the Indian team.
