The sender of the mail claiming to be associated with Bishnoi gang has demanded crores of rupees. Initial investigation has revealed that the email was sent from an encrypted service like Proton Mail and its location is said to be related to Sweden. At present, security agencies and Mumbai Crime Branch are seriously investigating the matter.

The mail demanded crores of rupees and also reportedly warned of consequences. Initial technical investigation revealed that the email was sent through Proton Mail, which is an encrypted service and not easy to trace. For this reason, the investigating agencies are also investigating the matter in depth from the cyber angle.
Sweden connection of threat increases stir, entry of crime branch
During technical analysis, a clue was found that the email could possibly have been sent from Sweden. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet.
