Sorab Bedi confirmed his relationship with Delnaz Daruwala on October 16. Minutes after sharing their pictures, he deleted the post from Instagram. The reason was age shaming. A section of the internet called him a ‘cheater’ for cheating on Niharika Tiwari, his Splitsvilla 16 partner. However, on his broadcast channel on Instagram, Sorab released a video, clearing allegations of cheating on Niharika. The reality show star clarified that they were never dating officially and had given each other some time to figure out whether they had a future together.

In the now-viral video, Sorab said that he did not cheat on Niharika, as they were never a couple. Months before she put out the breakup post, they had already started walking on different paths. Bedi further said that Delnaz has always been an integral part of his life and career, as he has known her since his modelling days.
Hitting back at trolls criticising them for their reported 24-year age gap. He said, “Agar tum age gap ki baat kar rahe ho na bhai to mujhe bohot sundar lagti hai woh. Mujhe bohot hi hot lagti hai woh. Mere liye woh sundar bhi hai, mere liye woh hot bhi hai, mere liye wo sab hai bhai.”

He added, “Maine usse jyada sundar ladki nahi dekhi aaj tak. Main akela ladka nahi hoon jise apne se badi ladkiyan pasand hai. Main use shadi bhi kar lunga, byah ke bhi le aaunga. Tumhe kya dikkat hai?” Sorab further shared that his parents and family have accepted his relationship with Delnaz. He clarified that he never cheated on Niharika.
Sharing pictures with Delnaz, Sorab wrote, “Izzat se comment karna, tumhari Bhabhi hai (Sic).” Some time later, he removed the post from Instagram.

I don’t want to hurt anyone, and I want to make it very clear that there was nothing fake about our relationship. Whatever we shared was real, and I will always respect that. But sometimes, you have to make certain decisions for your future, your growth, and most importantly, your peace of mind. This is one of those decisions for me. I don’t want to give reasons, explanations, or make this a big deal. I simply request you to understand my decision, respect my privacy, and please don’t turn this into something bigger than it is.”
