New Delhi: Sony India has launched the second generation ULT POWER SOUND series that adds to its high-end audio product portfolio by bringing in powerful party and portable speakers. The new range consists of ULT TOWER 9, ULT TOWER 9AC, ULT FIELD 5, ULT FIELD 3 and a ULTMIC1 wireless microphone. All models have the ULT button to provide extra bass and two different sound modes to provide the immersive audio experience that Sony is known to produce.
At the launch, Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director of Sony India, spoke of the line-up, saying that the focus in the line-up is on being innovative and creating high-quality sound. Popular singer Karan Aujla comes on board as the audio brand ambassador of the ULT range, and they plan to target the youth. He commended the series on the basis of deep bass, clear sound and flexibility, which warranted that it could be used in travel and home entertainment.

ULT TOWER 9 and ULT TOWER 9AC
The ULT TOWER 9 and ULT TOWER 9AC deliver 360 Party Light and 360 Party Sound wherever space is provided. Both models have karaoke, guitar input and TV Sound Booster. ULT TOWER 9 has up to 25 hours of battery on quick charging, and the plug-and-play ULT TOWER 9AC is the party machine to use all day. It has a built-in power bank, a water-resistant top panel and Party Connect, which is used to connect up to 100 other compatible speakers.

ULT FIELD 5
Created to be used outdoors, the ULT FIELD 5 has up to 25 hours of playback and is rated IP67, which means it is water and dust resistant, shockproof and saltwater resistant. It comes with a multi-way strap, Sound Field Optimisation and a 10-band custom equaliser to provide personalised sound. The Party Connect support can connect more than one speaker, and two-device connection enables no interference when switching between two sources.
ULT FIELD 3
The ULT FIELD 3 provides up to 24 hours of battery life and rugged IP67 construction in a smaller package. It allows pairing to multiple devices, Party Connect and adjustment via the Sony | Sound Connect app. The model is designed to suit the customer who desires portability and does not compromise the bass performance.
ULTMIC1
The ULTMIC1 wireless mic lasts up to 20 hours, and fast charging delivers two hours of use in 10 minutes. Duet Assist equalises the voices when performing in pairs, and its dongle is plug-and-play, so it is easy to set up. The mic allows perfect vocals and minimum background noise when used in karaoke, jam sessions or live acts.

As an introductory offer, anyone who purchases the ULT TOWER 9 or ULT TOWER 9AC will get a Sony Wireless MIC worth Rs 19,990. The ULTMIC1 has a price tag of Rs 14,990, and the ULT TOWER 9 is at Rs 84,990.
