‘Sold house after ‘Bad Boyz’, even ED officials know about our terrible situation’

“Raveendra Nee Evide?”, the new family entertainer starring Anoop Menon and Sheelu Abraham along with Dhyan Sreenivasan is gearing up for release.

The film is produced by Sheelu Abraham and her husband under the banner of Abam Movies. During the promotional event, Sheelu opened up about the ordeals she has been trying to overcome in life during the last few years.

Sheelu Abraham:

“We have nearly sold everything. You can just give a caption of ‘Sheelu in debt?’ joined by melancholic music on YouTube, and make no mistake, the video will surely get into the millions. It will also make sure that at least a few hundred people watch our new movie in theatres. I have not even completed the payment to the actors. We are going to pledge two more of our hotels to complete payment to the actors. Even ED officials are aware of our terrible situation. In earlier days, we used to offer food to orphanages every month. The situation has gone awry, and now we are in a situation, expecting food or help from others.

Our last two films bombed at the box office. After ‘Bad Boyz’, we sold our house and moved to a rented space. “Raveendra Nee Evide?” was filmed long before ‘Bad Boyz’. This movie is our last hope to cling into the business. If not, it will be curtains down on our rollercoaster ride in the cinema world.”
