Born on October 4, 1978, into the distinguished Pataudi family, Soha has made her mark not only in Hindi cinema but also in Bengali and English films. Her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was the former captain of the team, while her mother, Sharmila Tagore, is a renowned actress.
Soha is the youngest of three siblings. Her elder brother, Saif Ali Khan, is a well-known Bollywood actor, and her sister, Saba Ali Khan, is also part of the film fraternity. She is the sister-in-law of actress Khan and was previously the sister-in-law of Amrita Singh.
