Mumbai: Rapper Snoop Dogg lost his 10-month-old granddaughter. The death of the little one was confirmed through an Instagram post shared by the rapper. The granddaughter, Codi Dreaux, passed away on January 26 after 20 days of returning from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
On January 31st, the rapper shared a post for his daughter Cori Broadus. The post showcased a picture of him along with Cori and the family. In the caption, Snoop posted two emojis, a heart and folded hands. Though he refrained from writing down his emotions about the loss, the rapper’s fans flooded the post with prayers and condolences to the Broadus family.
Meanwhile, Cori took to social media to announce the passing of her little daughter. Sharing an image of her with her late baby, Cori wrote, “Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi.” Codi was born three months premature.

Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also posted on Instagram about the loss.
Paying tribute to his daughter, Wayne wrote, “I been the saddest since u left me, Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.”
Snoop Dogg’s granddaughter’s birth
Previously, Cori has posted a video of Codi returning home from the hospital. She was elated to finally have her daughter home and wrote, “She’s home. Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
The rapper’s daughter announced the birth of her daughter in February 2025. The child was born at 6 months and was admitted to the NICU for critical care. In September, during NICU Awareness Month, Cori even shared the journey of her newborn.
Cori is the youngest child of Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus.
