Ever since Team India’s star batsman Smriti Mandhana’s wedding has been postponed, everyone has been waiting for a glimpse of her. Waiting for any update from his side regarding marriage. Now after about 12 days, this wait is also over and Mandhana has made a post on her Instagram account, due to which the fans have heaved a sigh of relief. In this post, Mandhana did not give any latest information regarding marriage but in the video, Mandhana shared her experiences regarding the World Cup final.
Mandhana’s first post after postponing her marriage
Smriti Mandhana Posted a video on his Instagram account on December 5. Although this was not a regular post, but a sponsored video which he did for his brand endorsement. But in this he shared the experiences of winning the title in the World Cup 2025. On the end of the wait to win the World Cup, Mandhana said that after losing the World Cup in the last 12 years, she used to wonder when she would be able to win it and when Team India won the trophy on 2 November, she again started feeling happy like a small child.
Recalling the World Cup final, Mandhana said that she did not need to think much while batting because she was playing as per the needs of the team. But while fielding, Mandhana was remembering God. He said, “While fielding, I remembered all the Gods. For the entire 300 balls, I was remembering God and praying only to get a wicket.”
Waiting for announcement of new wedding date
This post of Mandhana has come about 12 days after her marriage was postponed. Smriti and her fiance Palash Muchhal were to get married on 23rd November last month. This marriage was to take place at Mandhana’s house in Sangli but suddenly it had to be postponed on the same day. In the statement issued by the Mandhana family, the reason for this was said to be the deteriorating health of Smriti’s father, who remained in the hospital for 3-4 days. Palash Muchhal also remained admitted in the hospital for a few days because his health had also deteriorated. But since then there has been no information regarding the marriage.
