Situation worsened due to Iran war, Pakistan will impose lockdown from tonight itself. Pakistan Declares Lockdown Amid Escalating Iran Crisis

In order to save energy in Pakistan, the government has taken a big decision and has issued an order to close markets and shopping malls across the country (except Sindh) by 8 pm. This decision was taken in a meeting held in Islamabad in the presence of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, information about which was given by the PM’s office. Under the new rules, this order will be applicable in Punjab, Balochistan, Islamabad and Baltistan, whereas earlier relaxation till 9 pm was said in some parts of KP. At the same time, bakeries, restaurants, tandoors and food shops will have to be closed by 10 pm, and marriage halls and private functions will also be banned after 10 pm. However, medical stores and medicine shops have been exempted from this time limit. These new rules have become effective from April 7 (Tuesday).
