Amrit Bharat Train Update: The Indian Railways has launched two new Amrit Bharat trains, one from Sitamarhi to Delhi and another from Patna to Lucknow, providing convenient travel options to long-distance passengers with modern facilities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the two new Amrit Bharat trains through video conferencing on August 8, further expanding the Indian Railway network.
Sitamarhi-Delhi Amrit Bharat Train: Check Timings, Route, Other Details
The Sitamarhi-Delhi Amrit Bharat train will depart from Sitamarhi every Sunday at 10:15 PM and arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi the next day via Darbhanga, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Bhatni, Deoria Sadar, and Gorakhpur. In its return journey, it will leave Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi at 2 PM on every Sunday and reach Sitamarhi the next day via Ghaziabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, and Gorakhpur.
Earlier, Gomti Nagar-Darbhanga Weekly Amrit Bharat Train (15561/15562), Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Bi-Weekly Express (15567/15568) and Anand Vihar-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Train (15557/15558) were flagged off to boost connectivity in the region.
Patna-Lucknow Amrit Bharat Train: Check Route, Timings, Other Details
The Patna-Lucknow Amrit Bharat train was flagged by PM Modi on August 8. The high-speed train will run between Patna and Lucknow, boosting connectivity between the two cities. The Indian Railways will operate the Patna-Lucknow Amrit Bharat train via major stops, aiming to provide affordable travel options to long-distance passengers and daily commuters.
