Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 13 Early Updates: Aamir Khan finally gets over his box office drought after almost 9 years.
His last box office hit, actually a blockbuster, was ‘Dangal’ (2016). After which, he released two films – ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ (2018) and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ (2022) – and both films were box office disasters. Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by R.S. Prasanna and backed by the Mr. Perfectionist under his production banner Aamir Khan Productions, has been making waves at ticket counters across the country. Starring Aamir Khan as the basketball coach ‘Gulshan’ and Genelia Deshmukh as his wife ‘Sunita’ alongside 10 nuerodivergent sitaare-s, Sitaare Zameen Par kickstarted its theatrical journey on June 20 on a positive note. With an opening day collection of Rs 10.7 cr, the sports comedy-drama went on to earn Rs 88.9 cr in its first week, as reported by Sacnilk.
Due to the positive word-of-mouth, the Aamir Khan-starrer maintained its strong hold at the box office. After the massive second weekend boost, the movie saw a noticeable drop on its 2nd Monday. As per Sacnilk, the movie managed to rake in around Rs 3.75 cr each on both Monday and Tuesday. The 12-day total estimated net earnings stand at Rs 130.15 cr, while the gross collection is Rs 155.75 cr.

Despite the mid-week blues, the movie is a clear hit! Mounted on an alleged budget of Rs 90 cr, the film is enjoying over 45% profitable return from the box office ahead of its 3rd week.
