‘Silenced, not defeated’: Raghav Chadha’s message to ‘aam aadmi’ after AAP’s Rajya Sabha move

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha on Friday posted a video message on social media, saying he has been silenced but not defeated. This comes a day after AAP removed Chadha as its deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha and also requested the Secretariat not to allow him to speak in Parliament.

In the video message, which he said was for “aam aadmi”, the young AAP leader highlighted the issues he raised in the Rajya Sabha so far and asked if raising those matters was wrong. “Silenced, not defeated. My message to the ‘aam aadmi’,” he wrote.

Whenever I get a chance to speak in Parliament, I raise public issues. Maybe I raise topics not usually raised in Parliament, but is raising public issues a crime? Have I committed a crime? Have I made a mistake? Have I done something wrong?” Chadha asked in a video message posted on X.

“I am asking this question because the AAP told the Secretariat to stop Raghav Chadda from speaking in Parliament,” he said in his video.
