The Chinese Ambassador has opposed the tariffs imposed by the US on India and condemned the trade wars. He said that by silence or compromising, only the bullying people encourage.

Said that America has benefited greatly from free trade, but now it is using tariffs as bargaining chip. China opposes American decision to impose 50% tariffs on Indian goods. Addressing a program in New Delhi, the Chinese Ambassador said that China welcomes all Indian goods to enter the Chinese market. Regarding imposing tariffs on various countries by US President Donald Trump, Fihong said that currently tariff war and trade war is disrupting the global economic and business system. They said,
The politics of power and the law of the forest is prevalent. International rules and system have had a serious impact. Global South is very concerned about how China and India can strengthen cooperation and lead to help developing countries overcome difficulties and to help protect international fairness and justice.

The Chinese ambassador said that the essence of business is to complement each other’s benefits and get mutual profit and victory and win-win, not to calculate who loses and who wins. Nor should it become a means of advancing personal interests. They said,
The US has greatly benefited from long -term free trade, but now it is using tariffs as bargaining chip to demand excessive prices from various countries. The US has imposed a 50% tariff on India. More than this has been threatened. China strongly opposed this. In front of such acts, silence or compromise only encourage the bullying.
Donald Trump has imposed 50 percent tariff on India
Let us know that Trump announced 25 percent tariff on Indian goods in July. A few days later, he imposed an additional 25 percent tariff, citing India continuing to import Russian oil. This led to the total tariff to 50 percent.
