Side Heroes: Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has revealed his next movie, Side Heroes, a warm and emotional drama that will bring together Varun Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana for the first time.
Fans are excited to see this talented trio sharing screen space. Side Heroes is described as a light-hearted yet emotional film about friendship, memories, and finding happiness again. The movie is expected to strike a chord with viewers through its simple storytelling and heartfelt moments.
Imtiaz Ali took to his Instagram to share the video with the caption, “Dosti celebrate karne ka time aa gaya hai! To all the friends on the eve of Friendship Day.” The story follows three childhood friends who reunite after years of being apart. During their get-together, they reflect on their past, talk about lost dreams, and rediscover what truly matters in life which is laughter, love, and friendship. With Side Heroes, Imtiaz brings another heartfelt story to life, promising laughter, tears, and lots of nostalgia.
About Imtiaz Ali’s New Movie
The film will be directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy. The script has been written by Siddarth Sen and Pankaj Matta. The film is produced by Imtiaz Ali along with Mahaveer Jain, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Reeyan Shah. It will be presented by Lyca Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films in partnership with Imtiaz’s Window Seat Films.
Meanwhile, producers Mahaveer Jain and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba said, “We love stories that come from the heart. Side Heroes is one such story – it’s about three friends who come together after a long time and look back on their lives. Imtiaz Ali’s Other Projects
Besides Side Heroes, Imtiaz Ali has also announced another film that will star Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari. This untitled movie will start shooting in August 2025 and is expected to hit cinemas around Baisakhi 2026.
