Lord Shri Krishna had predicted the things that would happen in Kaliyuga during the Mahabharata period itself. Let us tell you, in Mahabharata, when Pandavas were going to the forest after losing everything in gambling, Yudhishthir asked Shri Krishna, O Narayan!
Right now the end of Dwapar Yuga is going on, after this Kaliyuga will arrive. Please tell us brothers what will happen in Kalyug? Then Shri Krishna said, first you all go to the forest and whatever you see there, come back in the evening and tell me. After that all the Pandavas went to the forest. Let us know about what the five Pandavas told when they came in the evening.
1. There will be exploitation in Kalyug
After coming back from the forest, Yudhishthir said to Shri Krishna, Madhav, when I was roaming in the forest, I saw an elephant with two trunks. Then Shri Krishna said, Dharamraj, what you saw in the forest means that in the coming Kaliyuga, there will be rule of such people who will say one thing and do another. Those who rule will exploit the people from both sides. And this prediction of Shri Krishna proves to be true even today.
2. There will be demonic behavior in Kalyug
After that Arjun said O Narayan! A bird had verses from the Vedas on its wings but the bird was eating the flesh of a dead animal. Hearing Arjun’s words, Shri Krishna said, Arjun, what you saw means that in Kalyug, those who call themselves knowledgeable will actually have demonic behavior. They will keep thinking in their mind that when someone dies and their property gets transferred to their name.
3. The child’s development will be stunted
After that Bhima said to Shri Krishna that I saw a cow licking the calf so much that the calf bled. Shri Krishna said that this means that in Kaliyuga, the child’s development will be stunted due to the mother’s love. If someone else’s son becomes a saint, mothers will visit him, but if their own son wants to take renunciation, they will cry.
4. No one will help the hungry
After that Sahadev said, I saw in the forest that among 7 filled wells, one well was completely empty. Shri Krishna smilingly said, Sahadev, what you saw means that if someone continues to die of hunger in Kalyug, no one will help him. Rich people will spend a lot on their children’s wedding but will not help someone nearby who is dying of hunger.
5. Salvation will come through Hari Naam
Then Nakul said, Madhav, I saw that a big rock did not stop even after hitting big trees and rocks, but stopped as soon as it hit a small plant. Shri Krishna said that this means that in Kaliyuga, the mind will fall so low that it will not be filled even with the tree of power, but by chanting Hari Naam, man’s fall will be stopped.
