What happened to Shreyas Iyer
Let us tell you that in the third and last ODI match between India and Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Shreyas Iyer took a dive while taking the catch of wicketkeeper Alex Carey, due to which he got injured in his ribs. He was admitted to Vincent Hospital in Sydney, where it was found that internal bleeding had started due to rupture of his spleen. The doctor stopped the internal bleeding through a non-surgical procedure and conducted several tests. Now it may take four to five weeks for him to recover. Let us tell you that Shreyas Iyer will not be a part of the ODI, T20, and Test series between India and South Africa to be held on Indian soil.
