Shravani Mela 2026: Ahead of the auspicious Shravani Mela, the Railways has decided to operate multiple special trains to manage the rush.
The authority stated that train numbers 03511/03512 Asansol-Patna-Asansol Shravani Mela Special and 03527/03528 Asansol-Gorakhpur-Asansol Shravani Mela Special will operate in the coming days. The services are likely to significantly benefit the devotees of several northern and eastern states.
Asansol-Patna To Run Till Aug 29
As per the reports, train number 03511 Asansol-Patna Shravani Mela Special will operate daily between July 29 and August 29. The officials, while providing details, stated that the special train will depart from Asansol at 5 PM and arrive in Patna at 2:30 PM the next day. In its return journey, the 03512 Patna-Asansol Shravani Mela Special will depart from Patna at 3:30 PM daily from July 30 to August 30 and arrive in Asansol at 1 PM the same day.
The officials further stated that this train will stop at multiple stations in the Asansol division, including Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, and Simultala. They further stated that general second-class unreserved coaches will be available on this train to provide a travel option to the middle-class passengers.
Special Services From Asansol To Gorakhpur
The 03527 Asansol-Gorakhpur Shravani Mela Special will depart Asansol daily at 9 pm from July 29 to August 29 and will reach Gorakhpur at 11 am the next day. On the return journey, the 03528 Gorakhpur-Asansol Shravani Mela Special will depart Gorakhpur daily at 4:15 pm from July 30 to August 30 and will reach Asansol at 8:20 am the next day.
Apart from this, train number 05028 Barhni-Deoghar Shravani Mela Special train will run from Barhni at 3:20 pm daily from July 28 to August 29 and will reach Deoghar at 1 pm the next day. Train number 05027, the Deoghar-Barhni Shravani Mela Special train, will leave Deoghar at 6:45 am from July 29 to August 30 and will reach Barhni at 3:15 am the next day.
