Sharad Pawar further said that in politics, activism and ability to work for the public is more important than age. He said that as long as a leader remains active by connecting with the public, listening to and solving their problems, his role remains important.

Pawar said that farmers of Maharashtra have suffered massive losses in their crops due to heavy rains and natural disasters at this time.
