When to do monthly Shivaratri fast in September 2025?
According to the Panchang, the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will start from September 19, Friday night at 11.37 minutes, which will be on September 20, Saturday night for 12:17 minutes. Since night worship is important during Shivaratri fast, this fast will be observed only on September 19.

Monthly Shivaratri August 2025 Auspicious time
On September 19, Friday, fasting (fasting) should follow the rules of fasting throughout the day, that is, only do fruit. Do not do evil to anyone. Follow celibacy. Worship Shiva at night. The auspicious time for worship will be from 11.51 minutes to 12 to 38 minutes. This is the Muhurta of Nishith Kaal which will last for 47 minutes.
Monthly Shivaratri fast-worship method
After getting up early on Friday morning, Friday morning, after taking bath etc., take a pledge to fast. Follow the rules of fasting throughout the day. Before the auspicious time at night, collect the puja materials at one place. As soon as the auspicious time starts, offer clean water on the Shivling. Then light the lamp and offer things like flowers, bilva patra, dhatura etc. one by one. While worshiping, keep chanting the mantra. Offer God as per your wish. Perform aarti and perform bhajan-kirtan overnight.
