Shivam Dube dismisses Shreyas Iyer, Arjun Tendulkar finishes with a six as Andheri beat Falcons

Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain  may find himself falling behind in the race to make a comeback to the T20I side. On June 2, in a low-scoring T20 Mumbai 2026 encounter at Wankhede Stadium, Sobo Mumbai Falcons captain Iyer was dismissed cheaply for a single-digit score by  . Once again, he got out caught behind, trying to open the face of the bat on the back foot against a good length delivery. His team ended up getting bowled out for 126 and lost the match by five wickets to Dube-led ARCS Andheri.

 

Dube bags three-fer

 

Dube won the toss and opted to bowl first. In his first over, he got the wicket of Ishan Mulchandani. In his second over, he dismissed Iyer with the new ball. Falcons lost two more wickets early and were at 50/4 after seven overs. Aditya Tare seemed as if he is batting on a different pitch, scoring at a brisk pace. In the 14th over, he reached his fifty from 31 deliveries. On the other end, wickets kept falling. In the 17th over, Tare fell to Ajay Mishra for a 39-ball 59. In the next over, Arjun Tendulkar had his first scalp, getting Vedant gore out caught and bowled. Then, Dube wrapped up Falcons’ innings with another wicket. Apart from Dube, Mishra took three wickets as well and Deepak Shetty bagged a couple.

 

 

 

Sksena hits fifty, Tendulkar finishes in style

 

In the run chase of 127, Siddarth Raut got Ayush Jethwa out lbw for a golden duck. Pragnesh Kanpillewar and Divyaansh Sksena got Andheri to 50 in five overs. Prathmesh Dake broke the partnership, dismissing Kanpillewar out for a 17-ball 26. Prasad Pawar contributed with a 13-ball 21 cameo before falling to Yash Dicholkar. Dube couldn’t finish the run chase and departed for a 15-ball 16 in the 13th over. A delivery before, Sksena completed his fifty from 32 balls. He fell to Kavya Gori in the next over but Tendulkar finished the run chase with a maximum. Andheri got over the line with five wickets in hand and six overs to spare.
