Shilpa Shirodkar Calls Mithun Chakraborty ‘Kindest Soul’ After Two-Decade Reunion

Mumbai: Actress Shilpa Shirodkar recently reunited with veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty after a gap of two decades, describing him as the ‘kindest soul’ she has ever known.

Shirodkar shared a picture with Chakraborty on her official Instagram handle, expressing that despite the long hiatus, nothing has changed between them.

The ‘Gopi Kishan’ actress credited Chakraborty’s early trust in her career as instrumental in shaping her into the person she is today. Calling him her ‘absolute favourite’, Shilpa wrote, “2 decades later and absolutely nothing has changed! Met Mithun da today and we had the most amazing time catching up on the good old days. I honestly wouldn’t be the person I am today without his belief in me back then.”

She added, “Thank you so much, Dada, for always trusting me and showering me with so much love. You are the kindest soul I’ve ever known, and you are still exactly the same. You will always, always be my absolute favourite Dada forever! Love you so much my dada!”

Shilpa Shirodkar and Mithun Chakraborty were a popular on-screen pair in the 1990s, collaborating on several films.
