Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has shared a glimpse of her ongoing Nepal visit, posting a picture from the revered Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu as part of her “Nepal Diaries”.
The actress shared a photograph of herself dressed in a bright yellow traditional outfit, standing with folded hands in front of the temple. She captioned the post with a reference to the holy site and her Nepal travel diaries.
The Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva in his manifestation as Pashupati, is one of the most significant religious landmarks in South Asia. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu, the temple complex is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been part of the Kathmandu Valley’s heritage designation since 1979.
The historic complex features the main pagoda-style temple along with 518 smaller shrines, attracting devotees and visitors from across the world.
On the professional front, Shilpa was last seen in the Kannada action thriller ‘KD: The Devil’, directed by Prem. The film featured Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, Jisshu Sengupta and Nora Fatehi.
She is currently hosting the reality cooking show ‘Maa Hai Na’, where celebrity contestants participate in cooking challenges and comedy segments alongside their parents or adult children.
Shilpa made her acting debut with the 1993 thriller ‘Baazigar’ and went on to feature in successful films including ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ and ‘Jaanwar’.
Recently, the actress also denied viral statements on reservation issues that were falsely attributed to her, calling them fabricated and urging people not to believe misinformation.
