Dishom Guru Last Rites: There is an atmosphere of mourning in Ramgarh with the death of ‘Dishom Guru’ Shibu Soren. He was cremated with full state honors in Nemra village. His son Hemant Soren lit him. During this time many leaders attended the funeral.
Shibu Soren Funeral: After the death of ‘Dishom Guru’ Shibu Soren, the atmosphere in his ancestral village Nemra is torrential. People from far and wide reached the village for the last visit of the former Chief Minister of the state. Shibu Soren breathed his last at a private hospital in Delhi on Monday. He was 81 years old. Shibu Soren was cremated with full state honors at Barka Nala crematorium in Nemra village. Hemant Soren lit the pyre of his father Shibu Soren. The last rites were performed according to the tribal tradition and customs. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi also reached Nemra to attend the funeral of Shibu Soren. Apart from this, leaders of various parties also arrived.
Kharge and Rahul reached Nemra by road
Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in Ranchi on Tuesday and reached Namra in Ramgarh district by road to attend Shibu Soren’s funeral. As per the schedule, both Congress leaders were to reach Nemra village in Ramgarh district by helicopter. But due to heavy rains, they left for the ancestral village of Shibu Soren by road.
On the way, people standing on both sides of the road gave him a final farewell
Meanwhile, there is a warm atmosphere in Nemra as people from far and wide flocked to former Chief Minister Shibu Soren to bid farewell. Earlier, when his body was being taken from the state assembly complex in Ranchi to his native village Nemra, people were standing in queues on both sides of the road and paying tribute to him and shouting slogans of ‘Guruji Amar Rahe’. Shibu Soren’s son and Chief Minister Hemant Soren appeared in a vehicle wearing a vehicle wearing a white kurta-pajama and a traditional tribal pot on his shoulder. There was a queue of vehicles behind his convoy.

Most shops and establishments closed
Most of the shops and establishments in Ranchi remained closed in the first part of the day in honor of the late leader. Senior RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh, Trinamool Congress MP Shatabdi Roy and Purnia MP Pappu Yadav had already reached for the final darshan. The Jharkhand government has announced a three -day state mourning till 6 August in honor of Shibu Soren. All government offices remained closed on 4 and 5 August. Most of the schools in Jharkhand are closed on Tuesday and special prayers are being made for the peace of the soul of the late leader in many schools.
