New Delhi: Bangladesh tightened their security across Dhaka and other areas amid rising tensions ahead of the special tribunal’s verdict against the deposed prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, on November 17.
Hasina disbanded the Awami League and announced a two-day shutdown ahead of the International Crimes Tribunal-Bangladesh (ICT-BD) verdict. In response, the authorities ordered strict military, paramilitary, and police vigilance on Awami’s shutdown.
