He stated, “Sapne toh bahut kuch the, dar lagta tha ki kati-phati shakal thi, aur mujhe lagta tha ki kaise actor banunga. Log kehte bhi the ki yeh kati-phati shakal kuch karlo usko, main toh chala bhi gaya tha doctor se baat bhi karli thi plastic surgery vale se ki iska ilaaj karo, surgery karke thik karo, usne bola kardenge lekin Dev Sahab ke pas gaya, Dev Anand Sahab bahut mante the unhone kaha kabhi mat karna, tumhari personality jo hai, jab tum kamyab ho jaoge, yahi tumhara signature style ho jayega, kabhi mat karana. Unhone kaha dekho mere daant ke beech mein gadda hai aur maine aj tak fill up nahi karaya. Log vahi kehte hai usko ada mante hai ki Dev Anand ke danto ke beech mein gadda hai, jo tumhe minus point lagta hai, vahi tumko kal plus point lagega.”
