Actress Sharvari has expressed immense admiration for Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit, describing the experience of dancing alongside her as “surreal” and “special.
” This sentiment comes as Sharvari prepares for the release of her upcoming film ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’.
Sharvari, known for her role in ‘Munjya’, shared her excitement on Instagram, acknowledging Madhuri Dixit as one of the original Rajshri heroines associated with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya. She posted a video of them dancing to the title track of ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, which culminated in a warm embrace between the two actresses. “So honoured to receive this much prem from one of the OG Rajshri heroines of Sooraj Barjatya sir… the one and only Madhuri Dixit ma’am. Getting to dance alongside my idol feels surreal and soooo special. Thank you ma’am, you are the best!” Sharvari wrote, referencing Madhuri’s iconic film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’.
‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, is set to hit theatres on November 27, 2026. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in lead roles, supported by a seasoned cast including Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, and Seema Pahwa. Sharvari had previously highlighted Barjatya’s unique approach to songs, noting that they are deeply integrated into the narrative rather than being mere dance sequences. Madhuri Dixit, celebrated for her unparalleled dancing skills and memorable performances, has a significant history with Rajshri Productions, most notably with the 1994 blockbuster ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’.
