Virgo worship and passion
In the last days of Navratri, Virgo worship also has special significance. On this day, young girls are worshiped as the form of Goddess and they are served food. The fast ends with passion, after which the devotees break the fast.
Fasting Paran: On October 02, 2025 (Thursday), after 6.15 am, there will be idol immersion on the same day.
Importance of Shardiya Navratri
By worshiping the nine forms of Maa Durga in Navratri, devotees wish for strength, prosperity and happiness in their life. Especially on the day of Kanya Pujan and Durga Ashtami-Navami, it is considered very auspicious to feed and offer food to nine girls to please the Goddess.
