A moneylender had two daughters and both used to fast on full moon. But the elder daughter used to fast her fast with full devotion and law, while the younger daughter used to open the fast after eating food in the evening.
The elder daughter received the son Ratna from the virtue of the full moon fast. While the younger daughter had children, but she did not have longevity and died as soon as she was born.
