Sharad Pawar’s Grandson Yugendra Gets Engaged to Tanishka in Private Ceremony, See Pics Here

The Pawar family recently celebrated a special occasion as Yugendra Pawar, grandson of senior politician Sharad Pawar and nephew of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, got engaged in a quiet family ceremony.

While news of the engagement surfaced a few days ago, details about the bride-to-be had remained under wraps, leading to widespread curiosity. The engagement was reportedly held in the presence of only a few close family members, with no official announcements or public statements made initially. This secrecy led to speculation on social media about the identity of Yugendra Pawar’s fiancée.

However, the mystery was finally resolved when Baramati MP Supriya Sule shared a photo of the couple on her WhatsApp status. In the message, she extended her wishes to the newly engaged pair and revealed the name of the bride-to-be, Tanishka. “Yugendra got engaged to Tanishka. We are very happy. Welcome to the family, Rutu, Vedika, and now Tanishka,” Sule wrote. The post quickly went viral across social media platforms, confirming the engagement and introducing the soon-to-be daughter-in-law of the Pawar family. She also posted the pictures of the couple on Facebook and announced their engagement. She wrote, “Overjoyed to share the happiest news – my nephew Yugen is engaged to the lovely Tanishka! Wishing them a lifetime of love, laughter, and togetherness. So happy to welcome Tanishka into the family!”

Back in April, during Yugendra’s birthday celebrations, Sharad Pawar had light-heartedly hinted at the engagement. While blessing him, he joked, “When are you giving us the opportunity to shower wedding rice? Don’t delay too much.” That playful remark now seems prophetic, as the engagement followed soon after.

Yugendra Pawar has recently gained political visibility, especially after becoming active in the Sharad Pawar-led faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) following the party’s internal split. During the Lok Sabha election campaign, he played a key role in mobilizing support for Supriya Sule in Baramati by engaging with grassroots workers and expanding his political network.

His growing influence within the party led to him being fielded as the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) candidate against Ajit Pawar from the Baramati Assembly constituency, where he gave his uncle a stiff electoral challenge.

With this new chapter in both his personal and political life, Yugendra Pawar continues to draw public attention – this time not just for politics, but also for a family celebration.
