Remedies for Shani Pradosh fast
Shani Pradosh Fast Remedy: In Sanatan Dharma, Pradosh fast is considered to have very special significance. This fast falls twice every month on the Trayodashi date of Krishna and Shukla Paksha. The fast of Pradosh is dedicated to Lord Mahadev, the God of Gods. On the day of Pradosh Vrat, Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati are worshiped during Pradosh period. By fasting and worshiping on this day, one gets special blessings of Mahadev.
Pradosh Vrat is known by the name of the attack that occurs on that day. When Pradosh Vrat is observed on Saturday, it is known as Shani Pradosh Vrat. Shani Pradosh is also called Shani Trayodashi. The first Shani Pradosh fast of the year will be observed tomorrow i.e. on 14th February. Along with Mahadev, Shani Dev is also worshiped on this day. Also, some special measures are taken for relief from Saturn’s Sadesati and Dhaiya.
Remedies for Sadhesati and Dhaiya on Shani Pradosh fast
- According to Vedic astrology, black and dark blue colored objects and substances are considered to be related to Shani Dev. According to astrologers, on the day of Shani Pradosh fast or rather on Shani Trayodashi, offer urad dal and iron nails to Shani Dev. This reduces the effect of Sadesati and Dhaiya.
- On this day, chant the seed mantra of Shanidev Om Shan Shanishcharaya Namah. Chant at least 30 rosaries. This will soon eliminate the sorrows of life.
- On this day, take an iron vessel and fill mustard oil in it. After this, place a red flower in it. Keep this vessel in the central part of the house i.e. Brahma place. This increases positive energy in the house.
- On this day, offer water to the root of the Peepal tree. Light a lamp under the Peepal tree in the evening.
- Do special worship of Hanuman ji on Saturday. By doing this every type of Shani Dosh is removed.
