The incident is said to have happened on Thursday evening. According to the information, the student was present in her house when a miscreant from the village forcibly entered inside by jumping over the wall. The accused held the student hostage at gunpoint and raped her. Meanwhile, when the girl’s parents returned from working in the fields, they were shocked to see the scene inside the house.

The victim’s father told that when he tried to save his daughter and catch the accused, the miscreant pointed a pistol at him. The accused threatened to destroy the entire family. After issuing the threat, he fearlessly ran away from the spot. The student went into deep mental shock after the incident. On Friday morning, when the family members went out for some work, they took the dreadful step of locking the door of the student’s room from inside. When there was no movement even after shouting and pushing, the family members broke the door. Seeing the scene inside, the parents screamed. Hurt by the incident, the girl committed suicide.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police team reached the spot. Police took the body into custody and sent it to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The police have registered an FIR. The accused has been identified and a special police team is continuously conducting raids to arrest him.
